Hi Chris
Just to say thank you for the hospitality shown to both myself and Paul in July 2010. We had tried to book a holiday with larger holiday companies but could'nt get any guarantee of an adapted room. When I found your web site it looked too good to be true and so only booked for a week. In hindsight we should have booked for longer as what we saw on the web site was what we got. Lovely people, great adapted room, good food (too much) and all the help we needed with scooters, days out, etc. We had a lovely relaxing holiday. As there was everything we needed for Paul, it made it more of a holiday for me too. The friendly atmosphere in the apartments was great, everyone helped each other. We really enjoyed the Greek Night as well. Once again thank you and we hope to see you again in the near future.

In a wheelchair, a holiday in Cyprus for my sixtieth birthday at C & A Tourist Apartments in Polis was my dream. Imagine my delight when all of my nine children said they also would like to come. We had 14 wonderful days which I will always treasure.
The complex is completely wheelchair friendly. The outdoor pool has a pool hoist surrounded by raised sunbeds. All 19 units which include studios, one bedroom, two bedroom, three bedroom apartments have level access roll in shower rooms, drop down rails on either side of toilet. Airport transfers and excursions are available on-site accessible vehicles. Vehicles are fitted with RICON tail lift and safety clamps. Air-con and central heating also available. Tuesday 13^th July was my birthday and the pampering started with me relaxing to tea and croissants on the terrace with my daughter Grainne at 8 o clock in the morning. Then we came down to a beautiful breakfast in the dining room. First I wondered why we were inside and thought maybe it was too hot to go outside. Well when a Power Point presentation started up I viewed flashes of my past before my eyes. It was great and such a surprise. It was such a reflection where did I get the time to do all. The whole day continued with my nails, face, massage, hair do and lets not forget the seventies music – Johnny Logan’s “Whats another Year”
We all gathered around to the pool area for the special barbecue. A special moment when all the lights went dim and the girls came out with the cake singing Happy Birthday. The photographs are so exclusive for this occasion and taken in such a wonderful place. That night we went to the beach via the beach walkway/ wheelchair pass and lit lanterns. It was such fun getting them in orbit and watch till the last speck of light extinguished. And as I was watching there goes a shooting star. I said to myself everything is spot on.
I took the glass bottom boat trip to the Blue Lagoon and went para-sailing in Latchi. Now I can boast of swimming in the Mediterranean. My sincere thanks to Chris, Eva and Andreas, Nellie, Nine and Helene, Cuma and Fidi and not forgetting Demetri for his good humour.

What a wonderful week we had at your spacious and well equipped apartments. It is always exciting to find out whether "suited for wheelchair users" is in fact true but this time it turned out to be true. C&A is a place worth a stay both because of the surroundings but most certainly because of your and all your wonderful family. We felt welcomed from the first moment.

We enjoyed Eva and Nitsas cooking some of the days but also felt very welcomed at the nice restaurants in Polis town. We shall certainly come back.

Sorry for the delay in replying -- various computer problems, in fact my voice recognition software still isn’t working brilliantly so be prepared for some odd phrasing. We had a good journey home with no delays. We have been telling everyone what a brilliant holiday it was. It was so relaxing and because Steve could see I was a well catered for he could relax too. Since we've been back I have missed my dips in the pool. One of the highlights of the holiday I think was the boat trip and the hoist that meant I could go in with the med
It was great to be met at the airport by the accessible taxi and how things are around really to confer worry out of go into places. It was also good to hire a power chair and the fact you may need a real effort to make sure it was suitable was great. Before I came I was worried that I'd be stuck with an unsuitable chair. That wasn't the case at all and everybody was so friendly and helpful. The accommodation was good and spacious and the meals we had were great. In fact I'm finding it difficult to criticise anything!
I hope we'll see you again next year.

Dear Chris,

We had a wonderful time at your place! It took us 2 connecting flights to get to Larnaca, but your father Andreas awaited us there and made us feel comfortable right away. After a 2h drive in his airconditioned wheelchair taxi with years of experience, Andreas brought us to your place and we were welcomed like family. I remember that it was quite hot that day, and we were quite exhausted from the trip. We received a glas of homemade lemonade, and were commanded to go straight into the pool, before doing anything else. I have never experienced that those two things could refresh you that well! After the swim and the drink, we enjoyed a very tasty dinner prepared by the family chef-cooks Eva and Nitsa. Wonderful food, like I was used to from my mother's and grandmother's kitchen. Accommodation was great, even the older appartments are all you need. Spacious enough even when you are in an electric wheelchair like myself, and all accessible (Plenty of information of the website, which is very assuring if you book the first time). Hoist at the swimming pool can easily take you in and out of the water, and the sunbeds have extra tall matrases if you like, to transfer easier back to your chair. Both the accomodation and the area look very modern and beautiful. At the complex, some nice palm trees and flowers. Very relaxing. Another important thing is that you are not bound to stay at the complex, but you can head out to the town for tasty food. Restaurants are accessible and the owners very friendly if you need assistance. Outside activities are also possible. We went parasailing. Great experience, but I would suggest to go on a non-windy day. Altogether, it was a great experience for me and my girlfriend Annelies (first time Cyprus for us), and we only regret one thing: that we did not book for longer that 1 week! That is a mistake we are not going to make again when we book another stay at CA Appartments. Chris, I really admire you, both your personality and what you have achieved in life despite of your disability. You have a lovely family, all of them. Saying goodbye was difficult for us. Hope to see you all soon again! Be well! Oh yeah, congratulate Dimitris for the win of his favorite Spain :-)

This has been the best holiday we have been on. Accommodation was clean and spacious, atmosphere was friendly at all times, family and staff were helpful and accommodating. Airport transfers was hassle free and friendly. Equipment and adaptions were the best we have had on holiday. Boat trip is a trip not to be missed. We all enjoyed this holiday so much we did not want to go home, we will be returning as soon as we can. Excellent holiday would rate this 10/10.

I spent a great fortnight at C & A Apartments in May 2010. We hired a mobility scooter which made such a difference to our holiday. Amongst other things we were able to go into Latchi along the boardwalk right by the sea which was great, as well as sampling the local restaurants (who were always happy to accommodate the scooter). It made such a difference for Mike to be independant and for me to be lazy!

Hi Chris

We had a wonderful stay at your apartments. As a wheelchair user I have travelled to many places which declare themselves as "wheelchair accessible" however on arrival one finds that this is not the case, on arrival at C&A tourist apartments I was immediately at peace. The design of the place has been well thought out but your additional speed and willingness to provide or resolve any specific disability equipment or access issues was reassuring. Myself and my 2 year old daughter Maya felt so happy and welcomed by you and your lovely family. The apartments were comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped. By day the pool and frappe's by night the wonderful Cypriot food and company. Eva and Nitsa's cooking has no rivals. We have returned home refreshed, tanned, slightly fatter and very content. We will be coming back so stock up on the ice cream and baklava :o)

Hi Chris/Nitsa,

we need to thank you once again for yet anther wonderful holiday.

As usual everything went smoothly with the airport transfers, Andreas as dependable as ever.....along with the usual commentary......this year we moved on from olives, lemons e.t.c. to capers and snakes ! he'll make Cypriots of us yet

Kumer went to great lengths to ensure the "electric" wheelchair was comfortable and the portable hoist ensured bathroom tasks, in & out of bed e.t.c. were carried out with the same ease as in our own home.

The boat trip was a great day out, I dont think I've seen as many wheelchairs/disabled on the boat before and they all thoroughly enjoyed their dip in the warm sea water.

Although Steve did not get to do his parascending this time he has been telling the tale ( over & over & over.... ) about his hair cut and shave with the cut throat razor ! also his massage is high on his list of good memories.

As usual we met some old friends and made quite a few new ones. These friendships are easily formed over dinner where the food served by Eva, Nitsa & Charoulla is quite simply "the best".

My husband and I visited Cyprus in May 2010, and I hired a hoist from Paraquip. I made all my arrangements via Paraquip's website. The equipment was of excellent quality, well maintained and came with clear instructions. Importantly, the hoist was at my hotel (Riu Cypria Bay in Paphos) when I arrived, and the price quoted was the price I paid - i.e. there were no hidden extra charges. I would most certainly hire equipment from Paraquip in the future, and I unreservedly commend the company to you. After meeting Chris and his parents (they own C&A Apartments), I could see that both Paraquip and C&A Apartments are family businesses that pride themselves on providing high quality service, and customer satisfaction is important to them. We hope to return to Cyprus in 2011 and to stay at the well-appointed and wheelchair-friendly C&A Apartments.

My family met Andreas at the airport Larnaca and all my worries about taking my mother (a disabled person) on holiday were alaid. Andreas was very helpful and he gave us many advices about the people, the nature and Cyprus. We made two fantastic excursion days! We had to switch our flights (due to Volcana ashes) but Chris organised very fast the new transports (thank you Chris for your excellent and very fast communication). Just wish to say what a wonderful time we had yet again at C & A. The big WOW factor for us was the heated swimming pool......what an absolute godsend. Any person with aches and pains or a low tolerance to the cooler temperatures will relish in the heated pool....it was unbelievable, like having a bath without the bubbles !!!
Andreas, a great big thanks to you...the tour you took our party of 9 on was amazing. The market in Paphos, the harbour/marina, sea caves, coral bay, banana plantations etc....all things we could never have possibly seen without your experience in taking guests to places of interest on your Island. It was a truly wonderful experience. Your knowledge of Flora and Fauna has no bounds......a truly magnificant day out. Thank you so very much. You have the patience of a saint, you are so caring and thoughtful, nothing is too much trouble, especially loading and off loading my hubby Pete in his wheelchair. We are all eternally greatful to you.
Eva, Nitsa and Charoulla.....what can we say. As ever the food in the restaurent was truly devine. So much hard work and preparation which is a team effort by all of you. All fresh ingredients, prepared and cooked in your own restaurent. The BBQ night(thanks to Andreas for his part ), and the Sri Lankan night were amazing. It is a great place for all disabled people to enjoy, and i will recommend your apartments and studios to any people interested.

Dear Chris and family,
I have now been home for a week and have gradually returned to the old routine. I can't wait to return to Polis. I had such a good time. My photo's were printed yesterday and they brought back the warmth and the air scented with orange and lemon blossom along with the good times with friends who became family. It was difficult to leave. I recall the breakfasts in the sun with home made breads and jams, afternoons sharing recipes with Nitsa and Eva, evenings sharing dinner with the family and through out the wonderful hospitality that you gave . The accessibility was wonderful and so was the electric wheelchair that I hired. I was able to whizz along to Latchi along the coastal path. Groves of giant wild fennel and fields of yellow flowers flowed down to the blue sea. I also loved the little restaurants and cafes in Polis which is very Cypriot and full of character. The swallows arrived within a day or two of our arrival and by the time we left they were busy nest building swooping and chattering across the square.

I must recommend the trip that we did with Andreas to the new museum at Steni which shows Cypriot village life. The window that it gave to the past was enhanced by visiting with the family who were able to relate their own memories of how it used to be.

On this trip I travelled with a friend . Usually I am an independent wheelchair traveller. I now know that Polis and C and A apartments can be a good holiday for the independent wheelchair traveller. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday and you will see me again.

Olimme luonanne pääsiäisen vietossa 2010.
Meitä oli lentokentällä vastassa Teidän oma invataksi ja oli ihanaa huomata kuinka sydämellisesti meidät toivotettiin tervetulleiksi.
Niin alkoi lomamme, vaikkakin Inna ja minä olimme työmatkalla pyörätuolia käyttävän istuvan Kallen avustajina.
Hotellinne on aivan ihana ja liikunta rajoitteiselle ja pyörätuolia käyttävälle henkilölle todella toimiva paikka.
Ruoka oli erinomaista ja monipuolista. Ja jälkiruokina aina jotain ihanaa Cyproslaista herkkua.
Palvelu oli loistavaa ja kärsivällisyyttä riitti, vaikka meidän hieman huonolla englanninkielellä juttelusta ei meinannu aina saada selvää. ;)
Yhtenä päivänä kävimme kiertoajelulla ja pääsimme katsomaan Pafoksen shoppailu paikkoja ja hyviä ruokailu paikkoja. Samalla meitä ajelutettiin meren rannalla, jossa näimme mitä mahtavampia maisemia.
Viikko kului nopeasti ja kotiinlähtö alkoi hieman haikeissa merkeissä. Kiva palata kotiin, mutta jo viikossa saimme Teistä ystäviä joiden luokse on kiva joskus tulla uudelleen.
Luonanne oloa voisi enemmänkin sanoa "kylässä" käynniksi, kuin hotelli lomaksi.
Teidän ystävällisyys ja palvelu jäi lämmöllä mieliimme.
Hyvällä mielellä voin suositella paikkaanne muillekin.
Hyvää kesää Teille kaikille ja kesä on tulossa Suomeenkin..Tosin appeliinit eivät täällä kasva kotimme pihoissa, edes kesällä.

Thank you for making our holiday in Cyprus so much easier with the use of your mobility scooters. We stayed at the Venus Beach in Paphos, it was wonderful to find the scooter there waiting for us. We had wonderful days at Cyprus. We stayed at Sunwing Resort Hotel in Sandy Bay for 2 weeks in april. An electric wheelchair was delivered at the hotel when I arrived and I left it at the hotel when I left. I am pleased to say that everything worked out well during our stay and at all contacts I had with you before our arrival at Cyprus. Thank you so much. Now I am back in Norway and I look back to wonderful sunny days at Cyprus.

November 2009 -- the James family, 2 able-bodied and Adrian in a wheelchair. An excellent holiday starting from the time the booking was done via Chris (excellent communication) on the Internet. Have plenty of confidence in Andreas, who did a superb job of transporting us all from Paphos airport to Polis and back in a specially adapted vehicle. He was extremely friendly, and a mine of information, informing us that there was little he could not do within his "department" in the family-run business. On arrival at Eva’s Apartments we were made to feel most welcome initially by Chris and his mother Eva and soon after by the remainder of this lovely Cypriot family, not forgetting Kumar who was always around and so helpful in every way. We had reserved 2 one-bedroomed apartments which even exceeded our expectations, being exceptionally clean, quiet, functional and spacious. They are also well equipped for self catering but we discovered Eva’s breakfasts far too tempting to miss, not only for the range of food available but also presenting the opportunity for socialising with the rest of the family as well as other guests of different nationalities - the world was put right on more than one occasion! We were extraordinarily lucky with the weather and arrived in time to benefit from the now heated pool - superb in all ways including the hoist. Hiring a scooter via Chris is easily done and proved worthwhile in getting around especially along the coast via a recently constructed footpath to Latchi. Of course the beautiful Akamas Peninsula is close at hand. Local restaurants are excellent and friendly as are the locals themselves, factors which have attracted us back to different parts of Cyprus over many years. Thank you so much Chris, Eva, Andreas (busy when we left either in drying out his supply of pecan nuts or visiting his favourite coffee house!) and the rest of the family – and, of course, Kumar - we hope very much to meet you all again before too long
Thank you again for a most memorable holiday and we hope that members of the family who are receiving treatment are making good progress. You can be very proud of the facilities that you provide.

would like to sincerely thank you very much for the very enjoyable time we had in C&A Apartments. The apartment we stayed in was very well laid out, specially for two wheelchair users. Eva and Nitsa must be two of the best cooks we have experienced. I remember the beef and Yorkshire pudding with all the trimmings dinner which was scrumptious, a taste of home in Cyprus. We would like to personally thank you Chris for being a very pleasent, helpful and approachable host, who went out of his way to ensure you had a great holiday. We would also like to thank Andreas for the transport to and from the airport and the trip to Paphos Market and the Paphos Mosiasc. But most of all for being so jolly and great fun to be around, a true gentleman! Kumar the handyman who made a few adjustments to Clares wheelchair, who we could not compliment enough for his care. We would like to compliment the Bulgarian cleaning lady for her diligent work in the apartment. A great location with great restaurants all around Polis Square, very accessible. Not forgetting our little friend Dimitri, who was great fun to be around, who holds more information then a IBM Computer. I hope we did not leave anyone out. We will hopefuly return in the not so distant future.

Well it's been wet and cold here lately and the heating is getting cranked up to prevent frostbite. What a fab holiday we had. Troublefree transfers from and to the Airport was a fabulous start to our holiday.
What a dream !!!We arrived very late at night and we received such a lovely welcome from the family, the Studio Apartment was well set out. When it was made known to you that Dave was struggling a tad to manouvre into bed, it was sorted pronto. Hey presto shorter legs put on ( the Bed. not Dave !!)
What a lovely welcoming family atmosphere you have provided, the food and eating with friends and family make for a very happy holiday memory.
We really did enjoy the walk to the Beach and Latchi ( both "our" long scenic and the direct route). The hard fought campaign for wheelchair accessibility was well worth it Chris. We know there is more to come.
We have made many friends and keep in touch by e-mail.

Back on Dutch soil where it is now fall, 13 degrees, with great pleasure we look back on our second holiday to Cyprus. Weather and relax and a richer experience: parasailing, it was fantastic. Flat tires of the wheelchair was no problem, everything was settled immediately, the hiring of an electric wheelchair is definitely recommended, it makes transportation easier. The journey to and from the airport without problems thanks to Andreas.

I've been home a few weeks and thought it was about time I thanked you for the great holiday and hospitality at your little haven tucked away in Polis. The moment I arrived I knew i would enjoy my time, your Mothers warm welcome and all the friendly people made me feel comfortable instantly!

Being in a Wheelchair I was delighted to find your apartments to be as accessible as my own home. The excursions you put on for people are great especially in your Taxi's fitted with ramp and clamps which your Father drives (he's such a character!! ) Everything is well organized and your family put a great deal of effort in.

I found everyone socialized and the food your sister cooks is amazing (thanks Nitsa) mealtimes are a joy, with all your family integrating with guests and helping people mix and make friends! The Authentic Greek barbecue your dad does is amazing and is very popular among all the guests, the turnout for them is always good.

You can have a worry free holiday at C&A which you don't find in many places. Knowing that Mobility aids like Scooters, Electric Chairs, Hoists etc are readily available, And there is always someone on hand to help if any problem arises!

Hello Chris,

It is sadly very hard to believe that it is already almost a fortnight since we returned from our holiday with you in Cyprus. We are just about ready for another one!
We very much enjoyed our stay with you again. The different room made a great difference to our stay and we thought you had done a very good job on the new accommodation and the way in which it blends in with what was already existing. We enjoyed having our breakfast outside although it is not quite the same as having it freshly cooked by the pool.~
The extra meal availability, especially on the day of our arrival was most welcome and as ever the barbecue night was enjoyable and the food delicious. It was enjoyable for us to go for our walks in the sunshine but it was always a great relief to Brian to return to the air-conditioned room! It is amazing what a difference a couple of hours rest in an air-conditioned room has on the M. S. symptoms.
Our transfers to and from Paphos airport went very smoothly thanks to Andreas and Karoula. Please convey to them our thanks for this and especially for the interesting chat with Karoula on our return journey.

I am back at work and Gearoid and Yvette are back at school, JP has an extended holiday so he flew to friends in Boston for one month. Hope you are all well , we can’t tell you enough what a great holiday we had and how lovely it was to meet you all.
This was our first stay at your lovely home and we felt like we were leaving our family when we came home. The warm welcome and the perfect apartment made this stay with you a joy. We fell in love with Polis and Latchi, the town square in polis with all the great restaurants and the harbour at Latchi were perfect for us. The warm Cypriot sunshine and the friendship offered without reservation from all of you made this a perfect holiday for us. Myself and Sean Paul loved the para gliding and Gearoid and Yvette the speed boat in Latchi and the swim in the sea off the boat trip. Cyprus is an amazing country until this it was only a name on the map to me.
The apartment was perfect for me as a wheelchair user and having the PA come in was perfect and let my family enjoy themselves also. This place is magical. We met some wonderful people of all ages and abilities and were made to feel safe and welcome and part of your lovely family. Any one thinking about a holiday in Cyprus choose C & A Apartments, because believe me “Its not just for wheelchairs” !
The Place is a credit to you all and I cannot wait to come back. Andreas made the BBQ and what a special night by the swimming pool. The meals were great and also our trips – I wont go on except to say I had my hired scooter which enabled me to go where I wanted myself and needless to say I set off on the wheelchair path to the sea. It was breathtaking.

Hi Chris

We just wanted to say how much we loved our stress free holiday at your appartments, for the 4th time. As always the appartment was immaculate, as was the swimming pool and of course the wonderful hospitality shown to us by all of your family and staff.

This year, my husband Nigel and I renewed our wedding vows while on holiday to celebrate our 10th anniversary. I have to say that if anyone else is either considering getting married, or renewing their wedding vows in Cyprus then DO IT!!! She is a true diamond,and made sure everything went smoothly. Also special thanks to Eva who cooked us the best roast pork dinner we have ever tasted!

As ever, Andreas (or taximan as my children love to call him) was always able to take us where ever we wanted to go, and met us and took us to and from the airport with no problems whatsoever.

Hi Chris,

With reference to our latest "stay" with you, thank you once again for a tremendous two weeks ( 27'th June-11'th July ) and congratulations on the success of the expansion to the set-up at C & A.

I say congratulations because there was always a doubt that "small was good" and would it be possible to maintain the high standards set with the original apt's but we need not have worried because as usual there were no problems with transfers ( Andreas on the ball as usual ), hired hoist, and powered chair, and the new appartments are even better than the old ones, being more spacious with fixtures and fittings to a very high standard.

We feel the extra room in the patio areas and around the pool is a real bonus and the fact that there are more clients means that people are mixing better and making more friends. The evenings in particular were really good fun with a lot of people taking advantage of the improved kitchen/dining arrangements, whilst there is nothing wrong with the tavernas in the town and would recomend most of them to anyone the fact is that Eva & Nitsa's cooking is superb !

So it would seem that facilities have actually improved at C & A, but one thing that remains the same is the friendly service and family atmosphere where nothing is too much trouble to your family and staff if it concerns the comfort and well being of your guests.

It doesn't seem possible that we have been home for two weeks. Once we went back to work it seemed as though we hadn't been away. Thank goodness we have some lovely photos to remind us. We have looked at the photos you have posted and it was lovely to see there the people we met while staying with you.

We all had a great time, especially Louise who was able to be independent and not worry about people staring at her, especially when she was going into the pool. She really enjoyed the pool as she never goeas swimming here.It was so easy to get her in and out there because of the hoist .The facilities at the apartment made it so much easier for us all that we were all able to relax and have such an enjoyable stay. We would especially recommend that guests hire a scooter ( if suitable for them). It saved Peter and I having to push Louise around in her wheelchair in the heat and it gave her independence. Thank you so much for letting us use the larger scooter as while as the one ordered. You certainly knew best about that! Thank you to all the family for being so helpful and making us so welcome. We will certainly be back - finances permitting!

Kirsten og Kirsten var ledsager for Lone som sidder i kørestol. Lone syntes selv at hun havde en fantastisk tur, alle steder var man imødekommende og forstående over for hendes handicap og alle var utrolig hjælpsomme.

Hotellet er rigtig godt indrettet for en person i kørestol og hjælpemidlerne er ok.

Der var en hjertelig atmosfære på hotellet og vi følte os som en stor familie. Det var for Lone og os selv en stor fornøjelse at møde nogen fra andre lande som også er handicappet.

I byen er der mange muligheder for at komme ind i butikker og på restauranter selv om man sidder kørestol.

Her i Danmark har vi rost jeres hotel meget også til Christravel, så vi håber i får besøg af rigtig mange danskere.

Vi havde en rigtig god tur hjem.

I was glad I hired the electric wheelchair, as it made Tonys' holiday easier . at one point I got so confident on it that he had to run to catch up with me - good exercise for him.
I was also glad that I was able to go Parasailing that was a wonderful experience that I never thought I would be able to do , but thanks to you and the helpful people on the boat Iiwas able to enjoy being free for a while and not sitting in a wheelchair watching other people do things I wanted to do.
It was also great using the hoist to go into the swimming pool, my legs do not work at all so to have that experience was good.

I would like to thank you for your excellent service when hiring a wheelchair for my wife.

We stayed at the Rania Beach Apartments, Poseidonos Avenue, Paphos from 7/05/09 to 14/05/09. To have this facility was a tremendous help and we will definitely use you when we return in the future.The wheelchair turned up when we wanted it and was very sturdy but light. It helped us out many times when we went out and about in our hire car.

Doing the transaction with you was very easy and stress free. You were always returning my e-mails promptly. This made it very easy for us knowing we could trust you. You also made the sun come out for us, as we came out on the back of some quite unusually rainy and cool days for Cyprus and apart from our trip to the Troodos we did not see a cloud at all.

Hi Chris,

The mobility scooter you supplied for my wife made all the difference to our holiday. We stayed in the Kefalos Beach Village, Pafos, in October. Thank you to your Dad for delivering it ready for when we arrived. You were quite right to advise the "traditional size" scooter, which was powerful enough to manage the quite steep slopes in Cyprus villages. Of course we could not get it in the car we hired for one day, but it was easy to fold down the tiller and get it in the luggage hold when we went on a coach trip to the villages to the north-east of Pafos. It made them accessible. Once again thank you for your friendly and efficient service! You make such a difference to people like us.

I do not know where to start to say what a wonderfull two week holiday that we spent with you all at C&A apartments.It all began with being met by Andreos at Paphos airport he took care of everything for us.The apartment had everything you required.We both had a scooter wish was fantastic.We were able to do so much ,when we are at home I have to walk everywhere and push Franks wheelchair.This gave us so much freedom to see so much.We were able to go to the beach also in to Latchi when we wanted to.We had a wonderfull day out with Andraos to the Troodos mountains .What a wonderfull expereance that was Andraos tells you so much about everything.Stopping every so often to pick fruit from various trees for us to try.Frank was able to go swiming every day,somethink he has not been able to do for many years.We would like to say thankyou to Eva for wonderfull breckfasts every morning what a good start to our days.We really enjoyed the barbeque evening by the pool.The food also your family were great.The restaurants in Polis were very all very good also they are all wheelchair friendly and can not do enough for you.Well Chris i could go on forever saying what a wonderfull two weeks we spent with you,you all made our holiday one we will never forget and hope to see you all next year.

One little paragraph in a Sunday paper lead to a wonderful stress free holiday in Cyprus.
The hire of a scooter, the hire of transport from and to the airport were expertly organised for us. The friendly welcome when we arrived (a day late!) was great and then to see the accommodation which met our needs exactly confirmed that we would have a great holiday. Jas was really confortable in both the folding scooter,which we took in the car, and the bigger one, on which he went to Latchi.
We had a lovely trip to Pathos with Adreas, and learnt a lot about olives on the way, as well as other things.
Bryn and David especially liked the boat trip and the stop for swimming. Laura enjoyed relaxing on the beach in the evenings and we all enjoyed the wonderful food at places recommended by Chris as well as the barbeque at the pool side and Nitsa's wonderful cakes. Laura would want me to mention Andreas's capers as well!.

sorry it's taken a while to get back to you but we've been busy with work and getting Steve sorted in his new house. Having stayed with you for a second time ( 11'th to 25'th june ) in "No' 4" I am pleased to say the holiday was a complete success, due mainly to the accessability of the apartment and the availibility of relevant equipment ( electric wheel chair and hoist ). Add to this the sunshine.....the people......food.....beer....and all the other reasons we love coming to Cyprus how could the holiday fail ? But the major thing that made this year was the fact that Stephen got to swim in the sea for the first time in his 33 years ! and he followed this up by going parasailing the next day !!.....believe me the whole of the north of England has heard of his exploits as he has not stopped talking about it since his return. I am now back home in cold and snowy England and am full of envy for Cyprus living.

Can I offer my sincere thanks to you and your father for the wonderful service you are providing - I previously had a wheelchair on hire but this year opted for the scooter and it has proved to be the correct decision. My friends that I meet up with enjoyed my freedom just as much as I - and we were all able to appreciate the service provided.

In fact, due to a couple of children playing with the switches while on charge, I had to contact Andreas - who immediately identified the problem as being in inside mode - when I talked I was not near the scooter and he, very kindly called into The Paphiessa (whilst in the area) to check all was well - which it was.

I also had to give members of the public the telephone details whilst on my travels - as it caused so much interest with other tourists.

Our first stay with C & A and we were confident it would be a vast improvement on standard holiday accommodation but it was even better than we hoped, the ramps and bedroom and bathroom access that are normally such a chore presented no problems at all. In fact we did not manually have to lift Stephen at any time over the whole holiday, as well as taking the strain off Linda and myself it meant life was much more comfortable for Stephen.
The availability of both the hoist and the electric wheel chair were a real help....we were not aware of the extent/range of your equipment for hire, this will help make future holidays even easier to plan and all the all the more enjoyable.
The airport transfer's went without a hitch and we enjoyed the journeys with Andreas' running commentary.
Of course all the "above" is wonderful but it becomes even better when you add the hospitality and friendship shown not just by you but your whole family.....you are special people and we will definitely be back to see you in 2008,

Just a note to thank Andreas, he was a most welcome site at Paphos airport in the early hours of the morning following a delayed flight. Knowing he would be there to make the transfer from the airport to Polis completely hassle free helped us both relax despite the frustration of modern day international flying. We were both disappointed when he arrived promptly to take us back to the Airport a week later - neither of us wanted to leave!!

It was also great to have the electric wheelchair available from the moment we arrived until we boarded the return taxi - having all the facilities made the holiday a real opportunity for Alison to relax and for me to be as independent as possible throughout our stay.

Fantastic transfer service, Andreas was at Arrivals when we landed. The service takes all the stress away from taking an electric wheelchair on holiday. I would recommend this service to anyone - world class! In addition we hired a manual chair for Max. Again a quality piece of equipment and excellent value for money.

Finally, the boat trip which Chris recommended was superb - Max has difficulty walking on sand but loves swimming in the sea. The hoist allowed him a memorable experience swimming in the blue lagoon and one memory that will live with us all for a long time. This family are amazing lovely people who have done so much to enable less able people to enjoy holidays abroad.

The facilities were second to none - for the first time ever on holiday I was able to get Bruce in and out of the shower with no problem. Chris's suggestion that we hire an electric wheelchair was just the best. It made the holiday for me as I would never have managed with the manual wheelchair in the heat. Eva's lovely breakfasts round the pool and her daughter's delicious cake were a real treat. The village of Polis is great - all the people were so very friendly, kind and helpful. Once again we came to cyprus, and once again we had a great time. The family were, as always so freindly and helpful. We had some great nights at the complex. Chris' dads adapted taxi (they now have a new one) and all the equipment that we loaned were brilliant. Any extra equipment that we needed was available on arrival e.g bed rails etc. Chris and his family are always on hand to help with any problems that may occur. An example of this was when the tyre on my sisters wheelchair punctured, Andreas sorted the problem with ease.
All in all another superb holiday which I would recommend to anyone, and we shall certainly be returning soon.

I was very impressed with the prompt and efficient experience I had in your easy to use web site especially for me as this was the 1st time I have hired a wheelchair when on holiday - I have been to Paphos before and was meeting up with a group of people who were all able bodied - the wheelchair allowed me to go out with them at night and see sights and sounds of Paphos as one of the crowd.

Hi Chris,

Alison & I started to get into the holiday atmosphere as soon as we reached the arrivals hall at Paphos airport - we were greeted by Andreas, holding a placard with our name and were whisked to the apartments in Polis without any hassle at all. Andreas' commentary made the 50 minute journey pass in no time, he even rang several restaurants to see which could accommodate us at the late hour, drove us there and introduced us to the proprietors.

I had hired an electric wheelchair, which was waiting for me on arrival and this enabled Alison to really relax and enjoy the holiday to the full, we took advantage of the beach pathway to Latchi on several occasions, stopping for refreshment at one of the pleasant sea front cafes.

Our excursion to the Trudos Mountains was inspiring, again Andreas' knowledge of the countryside and history made quite a long day pass in no time.

We are already discussing what we can fit in during our next stay.

Spent another happy holiday in Cyprus thanks to Chris and his scooter hire service.
My brain is not what is was, so tend to forget lttle things like, the indoor/outdooruse switch on the scooter. After struggling to make the thing go faster and convinced I had 'killed it!', I rang Chris to be reminded with an obvious smile on his face to 'turn the switch on'. Never a cross word from this man, even when I made the same error every year.

The powered wheelchair which we hired from you was a great success. Chris had the freedom to go where he wanted and to get away from me which was very important for our sanity! Hi Chris,

Your dad Andreas, met us at Paphos airport in his specially adapted van, which has a tailgate lift at the back for wheelchairs, scooters, etc. Jim was able to transfer to a seat for travelling, but there are also special wheel–securing clamps for those who need to remain in their wheelchairs. He also organises trips out, giving the benefit of his local knowledge on places of interest, and provides transport to and from various activities such as para-sailing and trips on the glass-bottom boat from neighbouring Latchi, all of which are disabled-friendly.

Chris also provides the hire of a variety of powered and manual wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Jim uses a scooter at home, as he cannot self-propel a wheelchair, and I can’t always push him in a manual wheelchair, so we arranged for the use of a scooter whilst there. This gave us complete freedom to explore, access to the beach (where walkways and ramps help access) and in the evenings we were able to go into the centre of Polis to make the most of the variety of tavernas offering delicious food. On a couple of days, I also used a scooter, enabling us to take advantage of the excellent paved walkway which leads from Polis beach, along the shoreline to the charming fishing harbour at Latchi, a distance of approximately 3 Kilometres. Everything there is disabled-friendly, and the tavernas are ready and willing to move chairs to provide access.

Although Dad is able to walk short distances we decided that having a chair " just in case" would let us see more of the island. On making my initial enquiry before booking Chris told me he didn't have an electric bed. After understanding my needs what did he do, went out and bought one! He does everything possible to make sure all needs are met - a lovely guy.

The first person we saw on getting through arrrivals at Paphos airport was the lovely Andreas holding up a card with my name. No hassle there. He immediately took care off our luggage and took us to his taxi where he carefully guided me onto the ramp and very securely strapped in my wheelchair.
