This is one of our more popular excursions. 

This boat has ramp access and assistance is given to ensure the wheelchair user is able to board this boat to take a trip to the Blue Lagoon. 

Please note, that should you wish to use the 'hoist seat' to enter the sea, you must have upper body strength in order to hold onto the rail as well as good upright posture. This is required as the hoist swings out over the boat
before raising and lowering you into and out of the sea


 

Once onboard, you can be gently lowered into the clear blue Mediterranean Sea and take a dip feeling the freedom that others can feel.  We have floats/rings etc, to help you. Or why not just sit back and enjoy the journey.

There is a small bar on board for drinks and refreshments. 

The boat is a glass bottomed one, but unfortunately there are a few steps to access this, so therefore the wheelchair user would not be able to view this feature. 

Please don’t let this stop you from enjoying this excursion.  

The trips are held between April and October (weather permiting). The boat leaves the harbour at 10.30 hrs and returns 3 hours later at 13.30 hrs. Unfortunately there is no disabled toilet on board but with good planning, I am sure you can overcome this!
